Your Privacy Matters
To ensure that you are informed about how BlueHeart Press uses personal data, we’ve updated the privacy policies for our site and newsletter. Please look over the new details, which will be effective starting May 25, 2018. Here is some information on our policies:
Why we process personal data and what we use it for
We collect data from the user signing up for our newsletter. We do not share this information with anyone and the data is used to create newsletters keeping you informed of news, reviews, sales, releases, etc from BlueHeart Press. We only collect email addresses and names.
We are currently in the process of contacting all subscribers and asking them to re-subscribe. Anyone who does not re-subscribe will be removed from the mailing list. New subscribers will be prompted to resubscribe to newsletters every three years.
Held on file with Mailchimp – Email, and Name you signed up with. There could also be an indication of why a subscriber signed up (a promotion for a particular series to enable targeted marketing for a new release in that series).
Held on file with WordPress – anyone who signs up with the website – the site holds your name and email to be able to send you updates whenever something is added to the site.
Held on file with Rafflecopter – anyone who signs up, or engages in a contest – the site holds your name, email, IP address you entered the contest with. Postal addresses may be collected for signed paperbacks/swag giveaways, but then deleted after the prize has been posted.
THIRD PARTY TRACKING
- We embed content from Mailchimp.
- We collect information for our email list.

- Consent for cookie usage is now included in any signups.
- We do not share a user’s information with any third-party promoters.
- Before users can leave a comment, we will get consent by using a checkbox and disclose that this site will store comments and information relating to the comment such as the date and computer’s IP address. This data is not used in any way by BlueHeart Press.
RIGHT OF ACCESS
Data subjects have the right to access their personal data and to know how it is being processed.
