Thomas Elkin Series

Tom and Cooper in NY
New York Times + two coffees
= Tom and Cooper

Thomas Elkin Series blurb:

A successful New York architect, forty-four year old Thomas Elkin almost has it all. An esteemed traditional draftsman, he thought he knew everything about architecture, about life.

Cooper Jones, twenty-two years old, is about to take the architect world by storm. Talented, professional, driven, and completely infuriating, Cooper is the definition of Generation Y.

Generation versus generation, traditional versus contemporary, these men are about to learn a lesson in architecture, egos and love. Can they prove to the world that the old and new can be the perfect design?

Meet Tom and Cooper

Cooper Jones…

Strong minded, professional, driven. He is the epitome of Generation Y.   He’s worked hard to get where he is, and he doesn’t like hearing the word no. Originally from New York, but moved to Chicago as a teen, he’s back in the Big Apple so he can work with the best, to become the best.

The model Andrew Cooper (the name is fitting, yes?)  suits him perfectly.  I was scrolling through internet images and found THE most perfect likeness for the Cooper in my head.

Cooper Jones (2)

And Thomas Elkin…

Established, successful, wealthy. At 44, Tom has made a name for himself in the world of Architecture, yet he’s unsettled. Something is missing from his life, and he has no clue what that might be… until a certain 22 year old walks in and changes everything.

Anderson Cooper (Anderson Cooper/Andrew Cooper – it was meant to be, right?) is such a fitting character likeness for Thomas. I don’t picture Tom quite so grey/silver, but the kind face, warm eyes and smile are perfect.

  1. Oi! lovely and yes, totally meant to be. AC is my sweetie (in my dreams hehehehe)

  2. This was an excellent series! Tom and Cooper have such a great relationship and I loved their story. I wish the books had been longer because I enjoyed reading their story so much. Thank you for a great series and hope we get more like it.

  3. I enjoyed the series even though I read book 2 then book 1…oops. I’m looking forward to book 3 (and perhaps even more?).
Your pic of Cooper (Andrew Cooper) YES! exactly how I pictured him. Perfect & sweet. Funny though, I pictured Tom more like a young(ish) Gregory Peck – go figure. I supposed Anderson with dark hair and a touch of grey at the temples…nah, Gregory Peck it is.

  4. Just finished the series and I absolutely loved it! ❤ Have you thought about writing a book seen from Coopers point of view? Can you tell, I want more!

  5. I finished Book 3 of the Thomas Elkin series last week…and then immediately reread books 1 & 2. Oh how I loved Tom and Cooper’s relationship. The whole marriage proposal…sigh…beautiful!!
No additional books needed in this series, it is blissfully complete and satisfying.
    Thank you!
